Man stabbed in neck in La Lucia

The suspect involved in the stabbing fled the scene.

A MAN is in a serious condition after a verbal altercation led to a stabbing on Saturday afternoon. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, the incident took place in a parking lot outside a restaurant.

“The 52 Year old was attacked and stabbed outside a popular fast food restaurant in La Lucia. It’s believed the man had an altercation with another man who produced a knife, stabbing the victim in the neck, before fleeing the scene in an unknown direction. The man is in a serious but stable condition and was treated before being transported to Addington Hospital,” he said.
