One injured in North Coast Road crash

It is unclear what caused the collision involving the two vehicles.

ONE person was injured when two vehicles collided at the intersection of Malacca Road and Chris Hani Road (North Coast) just after 1.30pm. According to Crisis Medical’s Kyle van Reenen, the vehicles collided in a t-bone fashion.

The driver of one of the vehicles suffered minor injuries and was taken through to hospital while the driver of the second vehicle escaped unharmed. The cause of the collision is unclear at this stage and will be investigated further,” he said

Earlier this week four people were injured in an accident at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Marion Avenue. The collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn.
