Driver injured after truck overturns in uMhlanga

It's unclear what led to the tipper truck overturning.

A TRUCK driver was injured after his vehicle overturned on the N2/M41 uMhlanga construction site. Netcare 911 paramedics responded to the incident and treated the injured driver.

It is unclear what led to the tipper truck overturning.  The driver injured his hip and back in the accident.  According to paramedics no one else on the site was injured in the accident.

The N2/M41 interchange was expected to have been completed in April. Once completed it will be transformed into to a four-level systems interchange that will provide free-flow movements in all directions.

Earlier this week four people were injured in an accident at the intersection of Newport Avenue and Marion Avenue. The collision caused one of the vehicles to overturn.
