Fourth suspect dies after N2 shootout

The fifth suspect remains in critical condition.

THE fourth suspect invloved in the chaotic shootout with police on the N2 yesterday, has died.

This has been confirmed by Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen.

The fourth deceased suspect, he said, was arrested by police on the N2, after they rammed the police’s vehicle off the freeway.

At that time two other suspects had been shot and killed, and two others fled into the bush.

Police later caught up with the fleeing suspects. One was shot and killed and the other arrested.

The suspect who was arrested in the bush remains in critical condition.
