House breaking suspect nabbed in Glenhills

The suspect was spotted fleeing from a premises in Tibouchina Place on Wednesday.

A MAN was arrested for breaking into a home in Glenhills on Wednesday. According to Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen, the incident occurred at about 10.40am.

“The suspect was spotted fleeing from a premises in Tibouchina Place. Armed Reaction officers were immediately dispatched and arrested a man matching the description of the suspect.  The man was confirmed to be the same as that seen fleeing a property in the area by an eyewitness.

“The suspect forced entry into a house in the area and was disturbed by the security system. He was found in possession of several dangerous weapons as well as house breaking instruments. The suspect was handed over to the Greenwood Park SAPS,” he said.
