R2 000 reward offered for missing Yorkie

Spot is believed to have run out of the property after the armed gang stormed the premises.

A PRESTONDALE family has offered a reward for the return of their beloved yorkshire terrier, Spot. The pooch went missing yesterday after armed men stormed the home on Fern Road. Speaking to Northglen News, the emotional pet owner, Lorna Sinclair said the family is beside themselves with worry.

Spot is believed to have run out of the property after the armed gang stormed the premises. The family have offered a R2 000 reward for his safe return.

“He has never been out the yard, so he doesn’t even know what a car is. We are beside ourselves at the moment. We are asking the North Durban community to please keep an eye out for him or contact me on 083 388 9090,” she said.

Tyron Powell of Marshall Security confirmed that the stolen property as well as the suspects’ vehicle had been recovered in KwaMashu.

“Five suspects wearing balaclavas derailed the driveway gate and drove their vehicle into the property. They held up the homeowners and domestic at gunpoint before fleeing with various electronic items. The family was extremely traumatised by the incident.  The vehicle, a VW Polo, was stolen in Mayville last month,” he said.
