WATCH: A table that folds into the wall

The table and chairs are made from birch ply and finished with a hard clear lacquer.

EVERY week, the Northglen News brings you ‘Things You Never Knew Existed’. This week it’s the ‘Snap Jack’, a table folds up on the wall to a total thickness of 27mm.

According to the inventors, the table ‘allows you to reclaim your own space. Precision fitted magnets secure this table in both the open and closed positions.’

The chairs and table are automatically aligned and snapped to the wooden frame via magnetic safety latches, making it easy for anyone to handle.

“Snap Jack is available in a natural finish or with a stunning print. It is made in New Zealand from sustainable birch ply and finished with a hard clear lacquer,” the inventors said.
