Armed gang storms Glensahley home

The suspects allegedly derailed the gate and smashed through the front door in broad daylight.  

SIX armed men stormed a Glenashley home in broad daylight on Friday afternoon.

It is believed the men, armed with handguns derailed the Lynn Avenue property’s gate before smashing through the home’s front door, said Marshall Security’s Kyle van Reenen.

“The domestic worker who was at the premises at the time was confined to a room whilst the men ransacked the house, making off with cell phones, a flatscreen television, and the CCTV recording system,” he said.

The suspects then fled in a awaiting getaway vehicle.

Van Reenen confirmed the domestic worker was not injured in the home invasion.The suspects remain at large.
