Do you have what it takes to be a plus size model?

The Durban Fashion Fair which is part of the fashion development programme that aims at capacitating local designers.

ORGANISERS of the Durban Fashion Fair have sent out a call for plus size models.

In a post on Facebook the eThekwini Municipality’s Business Support Tourism and Markets Unit said: “So if you’re more voluptuous than a typical fashion model and know how to work your curves, there’s no reason why you shouldn’t follow your dream of becoming a plus size model.”
The casting will take place tomorrow, 5 April at the Botanic Gardens from 2pm to 3.30pm.

In 2012, eThekwini Municipality’s management and council approved the launch of the Durban Fashion Fair which is part of the fashion development programme that aims at capacitating local designers, empowering young designers, encouraging the culture of entrepreneurship, and facilitating access to market and networking opportunities.

Hopefuls must be between the ages of 16 and 35, they must be between a size 38 and size 42. They must also be 1.75 metres tall. Take your ID and your proof of residence.
