Search is on for two runaway horses in eMdloti

A helicopter has taken off to assist in the search.

THE eMdloti community is urged to keep a lookout for two runaway horses that are still missing after three horses escaped from the Bellamont Stables earlier today.

Belinda Weyer, co-manager of the stables said she is not sure how the horses got loose.

“We currently have 20 horses visiting the stable from the Orange Free State. If anyone in the community spots the horses they can just send us details about where they were spotted and we will go and fetch them,” she said.

In a Facebook post, Reaction Unit South Africa  said one of the horses was located on the N2 between eMdloti Beach and King Shaka International Airport.
