THERE are just two days left for adventure seekers to enjoy a ‘safar-free’ and enter a South African National Park (SANParks) without paying.
The offer commemorates #SANationalParksWeek which began on Sunday, 8 September and runs until Sunday, 15 September.
According to their Facebook page, the SANParks company was founded on 31 May in 1926.
“SANParks, manages a system of parks which represents the indigenous fauna, flora, landscapes and associated cultural heritage of the country. Of all the national parks, most have overnight tourist facilities, with an unrivalled variety of accommodation in arid, coastal, mountain and bushveld habitats. National parks offer visitors an unparalleled diversity of adventure tourism opportunities including game viewing, bush walks, canoeing and exposure to cultural and historical experiences,” reads the page.

There are national parks situated across the country.
Some well known parks are: Groenkloof, Kruger, Table Mountain, Marakele, Golden Gate, Camdeboo, Mountain Zebra, Addo Elephant, Tsitsikamma, Knysna, Wilderness, Bontebok, Agulhas, and Tankwa Karoo.
