Emirates resumes flights from King Shaka International Airport
The airline said it has four weekly flights to Dubai from Durban linked with Johannesburg.
EMIRATES has resumed flights to and from Durban to Dubai (via Johannesburg).
This comes after the United Arab Emirates (UAE) eased travel restrictions on South Africa.
In a statement to Northglen News, the airline said it has four weekly flights to Dubai from Durban linked with Johannesburg.

“In terms of flight schedules, Emirates has increased flights to Johannesburg from daily to 11 weekly flights, with the addition of four linked flights with Durban, and the airline also flies to and from Cape Town with three weekly services.
“Additionally, Emirates recently announced a codeshare partnership with Airlink, following the resumption of services in South Africa. This gives travellers to and from South Africa convenient access to more than 40 domestic and regional destinations across 12 African countries,” the airline said.
Emirates added it was excited to be back in Durban.
“We hope that with increased demand in and out of the city to our network of more than 120 destinations, our operation will continue to grow. Emirates is also actively responding to the spike in travel demand across its network to make it easier for customers to connect to Dubai and beyond through the scaling up of its operations.”
