One killed in N2 head-on collision
One driver burnt to death while the other sustained moderate injuries and was treated on scene.

ONE person has been killed in a horrific head-on collision between a bakkie and a car on the N2 freeway, between the KwaMashu and uMhlanga off-ramp.
According to Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst, one of the vehicles burst into flames on impact and the fire spread to the second vehicle.

One occupant of the car was burnt beyond recognition. The occupant of the bakkie was moderately injured.
Herbst added that traffic has been severely affected.
