“We felt the Survivor-themed breakfast was fitting because as a province, KZN has been through so much. We have had the lockdown, the looting and then most recently, the devastating storms. The residents of the province have shown unwavering resilience, and this, we felt, was a way to recognise and celebrate that. We also felt this would be the perfect time to raise awareness on what we do,” she said.

“Not only do we have amazing entertainment and guest speakers planned for our breakfast, we also have some incredible lucky draws and raffle prizes up for grabs. We would like to thank everyone who has sponsored prizes for the event. The fundraiser is open to anyone, and we are hoping to see many people come out and support us on the day,” she said.

The Baby Home Breakfast Fundraiser will take place on Saturday, July 16 at 8:30, at Victory Hall at Redwood College La Lucia. Tickets cost R350 per person. To book, email jo@peaceagency.org.za or contact Jo on 082 773 0781.
