A MAN, believed to be in his 30s, died in a car accident on the Ruth First Highway near Broadway this morning.
Emer-G-Med spokesperson Kyle van Reenen said paramedics responded to the scene just after 09:00 when it was established that a delivery vehicle collided with another vehicle, causing it to overturn.
“Upon closer inspection, we found a male, approximately thirty years of age, entrapped in the wreckage of the vehicle, with fatal injuries. He was declared dead on arrival of the paramedics,” said Van Reenen.
Two people in the delivery vehicle were treated for moderate injuries and were taken to hospital for further care.
