One-year imprisonment for burglar operating in Umgeni Park
The man was also declared unfit to possess a firearm.
A HOUSEBREAKING accused, who recently appeared in the Durban Magistrate’s Court, was found guilty of the crime and sentenced to 12 months behind bars.
Detectives from Greenwood Park SAPS investigated the crime and found that Siphilangenkosi Dlamini had been operating in the Umgeni Park area since March.

The court also declared him unfit to possess a firearm in the future.
Marshall Security spokesperson, Tyron Powell, said armed response officers responded to a housebreaking committed by Dlamini and found him inside the house he had broken into earlier this year.
“Officers found him hiding in the Umgeni Park home he had broken into and immediately placed him under arrest,”
said Powell.
The accused, Siphilangenkosi Dlamini, was found guilty in the Durban Magistrate’s Court last week Wednesday for housebreaking and theft and was sentenced to 12 months direct imprisonment.”
