THE beauty event of the year officially kicked off in Durban today, drawing together top beauty brands, social-media creators, industry professionals, and everyday beauty lovers for a weekend of glamour, education, and inspiration. Of course, we’re referring to the takealot House of Beauty.

The event celebrates the ever-evolving world of beauty and self-care, offering visitors the chance to experience the latest product launches alongside beloved cult favourites from both local and international brands

Prior to gates opening to the public at midday, Caxton Durban, along with other media, were treated to an exclusive preview at Suncoast Casino.

Among the highlights were brand exhibitions and immersive experiences where attendees got to test new products, meet brand representatives, and explore what’s next in skincare, make-up, haircare, and wellness.

Live demonstrations and expert masterclasses were also on offer, continuing throughout the weekend.

Adding to the excitement, the event included interactive zones and content spaces designed for social media enthusiasts — a content creator’s dream.

Every attendee was treated to a goodie bag valued at over R2 000, filled with an array of premium beauty products, making the experience not only inspiring but rewarding.
