Woman dies in Glen Anil after son stabs her
The suspect and his sister are both in critical condition.
A WOMAN has died after her son stabbed her and his sister, before inflicting injuries upon himself in Glen Anil this morning.
The scene played out in Boabab Way where emergency personnel and security agencies responded.
Marshall Security, Netcare 911 and Greenwood Park SAPS were all present at the scene.
“On arrival, emergency responders discovered that a family member had stabbed his own mother and sister before inflicting harm upon himself,” said Marshall Security spokesperson Tyron Powell.

He said the mother succumbed to her injuries before the paramedics arrived.
“The sister was in critical condition and required advanced life-support intervention. The suspect’s condition was critical and also required the same intervention. He was then transported to the hospital under police guard,” said Powell.
Greenwood Park SAPS is investigating the circumstances surrounding the case.
