Sunningdale moms host first pre-loved baby goods fair today
There will be lots of baby brands available at their fair on the day.
TWO women, brand new to motherhood, have used whatever little free time they have to organise the first-ever Growing Up Green Fair which will see a wide range of pre-loved baby goods being sold to locals.

Tammy Mack and Brittany Mc Dougall said they saw a gap in the market for this type of fair, and now knowing first-hand just how fast babies grow, they thought a fair of this nature would be ideal for new moms and those who will soon become moms, too.
“Brittany and I support a lot of pre-loved clothing sales for ourselves, and we’re supporters of reducing our carbon footprint in whatever way we can. Seeing that we have baby clothing, gadgets and goods that our babies have grown out of, we thought, why not hold a fair to sell these items and invite other moms to do the same?” she said.
The friends and former colleagues brainstormed one day – most of it over WhatsApp after early morning feeds – and came up with a name, venue and strategy for the Growing Up Green Fair which takes place on Saturday, June 15, from 08:30 to 13:00.
“We were looking for a venue that was easy to find and suitable for new moms with babies. The Village at the Sunningdale Shopping Centre approached us and offered us the venue which we gladly accepted as it was a good collaboration seeing that everything there is child and baby-friendly,” said Mc Dougall.
The organisers have reached vendor capacity, so shoppers are welcome to come and look at what’s on offer.
“Brands, such as Nurture One, Dockatot, Country Road, Zara and Cotton On, will be on sale. We want to stress that this is not a jumble sale, and items will be working and in great condition. If items are not sold, the vendors may opt to donate them to a charity,” said Mc Dougall.
