La Lucia teen’s modelling dream comes true
Ntando's my dream is to represent her country to the best of her ability.
NTANDWENHLE (Ntando) Oluhle Khuzwayo, a 13-year-old author, model, netball player, and maths enthusiast is the reigning Miss Pre-Teen Universe South Africa 2025.
Born and raised in the beautiful city of Durban and living in La Lucia, Ntandwenhle has a deep passion for the creative industry as a signed actress.
“I joined modelling and pageantry to build my confidence and as a way to embrace my stutter, which was something I was bullied for. Over the years, I have seen myself grow to a point where, as Pre-Teen Universe South Africa, I will now go overseas to represent my nation and the young people of South Africa,” she said.

It was her mom who heard about the pageant through which motivated her to enter.
“The first time I entered, I made it to the top six. After that, I spent two years preparing to become part of the Pink Family. Their values of sisterhood, empowerment, and the importance of being an ambassador truly inspired me to grow and develop myself,” said Ntando.
She describes being named winner as an answered prayer — something she had spoken into existence.
“I truly believe in the power of words, affirmations, and the strength of our tongues. Even now, I am still incredibly excited and honoured to be serving this platform. As I prepare to represent South Africa in the Dominican Republic, my dream is to represent both my country and continent to the best of my ability by showcasing our greatness on the international stage,” added Ntando.
