EDITOR – I live in Durban North and also had a woman by the name of Margaret phone me last week requesting an appointment with me at my home to help me reduce my electricity bill considerably. I asked her for a phone number as I said I would call her back. I have since checked the number which doesn’t exist. Needless to say, I have also never heard from Margaret again.
After reading your article about the gentleman who sold an old gadget to a woman to supposedly reduce her electricity consumption and bill, I think these are con artists and the public needs to be made aware and remain extremely cautious.
