IT was too shocking to read the letter by Derek Krummeck in the Northglen News dated 27 February. I want to write in response as follows: Does Derek Krummeck not expect the President and his family to live in a nice house? Why must the government pay white land-owners compensation? Did the forefathers of the white land-owners compensate the first landowners?
Mr Krummeck seems to forget that Nelson Mandela was a freedom fighter. He went to prison so that we may be free. Mr Krummeck has not realised that 62 per cent of the voters voted for Zuma to remain in power.
Zuma was never found guilty of anything in court. As for wanting a leader who drives a Toyota Corrolla, what about the people who live in uMhlanga? What cars do they drive? How and when did they become rich?
