So MTN is confident that they will get the go-ahead to erect a 25 metre high cell phone mast on residents’ doorstep in uMhlanga. This despite the uproar from residents who say that not only will be mast have adverse health effects but that their property values will plummet. Can’t say that I would agree to this either, but I’m sure the residents who will bear the brunt of the mast will not go down without a fight. It will be interesting so see who wins this David and Goliath battle. We would like to hear your thoughts on the issue as we suspect that things will start to heat up when residents read this week’s Northglen News in which MTN states why they are confident: MTN confident of mast approval
