Waste collection on Heritage Day

Pikitup would like to wish all Joburg citizens a restful holiday on Heritage Day.

Pikitup, the City of Johannesburg’s waste management entity, would like to inform the Joburg residents and business owners that services toady (Heritage Day) will consist of: nBusiness and Domestic Refuse Collection

nStreet cleaning in the CBD and Alexandra areas only

nAll garden refuse sites will remain open during the public holiday for the disposal of only light garden refuse, electronic waste and recyclable items.

nAll builders’ rubble can be disposed free of charge at any of the following landfill sites, namely Robinson Deep, Goudkoppies and Marie Louise.

We can ensure the City of Johannesburg remains clean throughout Heritage Day by these measures.
