Excellent football results for Roosevelt High

Roosevelt High School's football season concluded on a high note.The school's teams participated in the Johannesburg Central Soccer League, in which the under-14 boys team came third, the under-16 and open boys teams finished in fourth and he under-15 team snapped up the top spot.

The junior and senior girls also won their respective leagues and received a trophy and gold medals.

After the league, the teams participated in the top 8 playoffs after the league, where the under-14 and open teams went through to the final. They finished second in penalty kicks, earning a silver medal.”Well done to all the pupils who participated in the soccer league and who were so enthusiastic throughout the season,” Roosevelt's Nicole Bodill said.
