FAIRLANDS – Happy Mother's Day celebrations at the Happy Chappies Nursery School.
Happy Chappies Nursery School in Fairland organised a fun-filled day for pupils and their loved ones on 8 May in celebration of Mother’s Day.
Mothers, grandmothers, aunts and any other family members were invited to the school to spend a special day with their children. Each classroom had a different arts and crafts activity. From decoupage, to flower pot cards and even decorating fruit bowls.
The children enjoyed getting messy with their loved ones while making something creative. “The silence in this room is crazy, all the parents and children are concentrating so hard at making a very special gift for their mothers,” said teacher and administration officer Donna Anderson.
Some of the family members that could stay enjoyed a relaxing picnic at the playground.
