A bold new world begins for bright, young minds.
Franklin D Roosevelt Primary School welcomed 2017’s newest intrepid Grade 1s who were eager to get their year started the best way they knew how – with big smiles and positivity.
The school was filled with jubilant cheers rather than tears, which seemed to beautifully show off each of the little one’s sense of independence.
Their parents, however, were a little more sentimental, with some peering into the class through the window to say their final goodbye for the day. Parents Myron and Celeste Theron wanted their son Ethan to have an enriching year learning new ideas and concepts that would better him.
Stepping into their new class for the year appeared to bring with it the strong desire to not only to accomplish great things but also to gain new ways of thinking from the teachers and friends around them.
Aden Singh said that this year he looks forward to learning new things and doing his best.
The first lesson of them all count from one to 10 using building blocks.
