Entrepreneurs given platform to excel through workshop
BRAAMFONTEIN – All entrepreneurs welcome.
Engen Pitch and Polish encourages all entrepreneurs with established businesses and those interested in starting one to attend its entrepreneurial workshop and competition on 9 September at the Braamfontein Recreation Centre.
The workshop, which is now in it’s 8th year, will take place in eight cities across the country. The workshop has empowered 10 000 entrepreneurs and has assisted them in improving the way they present their business to potential investors.
The winner of the workshop will walk away with sponsorship for their idea or business.
Raizcorp chief executive officer, Allon Raiz said the company is deeply involved in supporting entrepreneurs and recognises the great need to develop entrepreneurs.
It is also committed to providing existing and potential small business owners with entrepreneurial thinking and knowledge.
“The programme was launched in 2010 throughout the country. The prime objective for Pitch & Polish is to help entrepreneurs in towns and cities across South Africa to polish their business pitch,” said Raiz.
He added that the secret to the programme’s success is a combination of high quality content and format.
“This year we have Justin Cohen, one of the leading experts on pitching for business as the national facilitator. Delegates can expect to receive tremendous value to aid them in creating a completely different perspective. Plus there is the ability to network.”
Register as a delegate to attend the workshop for free. If you feel you’ve got what it takes to compete, complete the online entry form and stand a chance to be selected as a contestant.
Entrepreneurs will learn lessons such as how to turn their ideas into a business, how to pitch their business to potential investors or bank managers and how to connect with like-minded individuals.
