Spruit clean-up Alberts Farm Conservancy plans clean-up for the spruit

ALBERTSKROON – Local conservancy group will host a spruit clean-up.

Alberts Farm Conservancy has planned a clean-up for the spruit in and around Alberts Farm for World Clean-Up Day.

The global day featuring litter clean-up and waste mapping is on 19 September but the local clean-up will be between 9am and 3pm on 20 September.

Community members interested in taking part can meet at the park’s entrance on 10th Street in Albertskroon.

People should bring hats, gloves, water, bags, small spades and rakes.

Sponsors and donors are welcome to contribute cash, manpower, equipment, water, T-shirts, caps and anything else they deem fit.

Advertising space is available on site during the day.

For more information about the clean-up, contact Marianne Coetzee on 082 927 0451.
