Tailored suits that anyone can afford

Founder of Busaniman, Nkululeko Lehapa describes wearing a Busanimen suit as an Urban African Experience.

Busanimen tailors make suits for all kinds of special occasions, from wedding to matric dance suits.
Their image consultants are trained to provide the best fashion advice while accommodating each client’s unique needs. Focusing on one client at a time is their recipe for perfection.

“We started Busanimen because suits express a very exclusive and luxurious type of lifestyle, and so we wanted to marry those two things at an affordable price,” said founder and executive director of Busanimen, Nkululeko Lehapa.

The company’s long-term mission is to offer custom style and craftsmanship that is accessible to everyone in South Africa. Wearing a Busanimen suit is what they call ‘An Urban African Experience’.

“We also have new ideas that we will be rolling out soon. Clients will be able to take their own measurements online and we’ll provide a full online store that clients can order from and have custom-made suits delivered to their door in time for any special event.”

For Busanimen, becoming a household name is the overarching goal, but for now, attention to detail and ensuring every client gets a truly tailored experience is the primary focus. “We take on any challenge. We once had a client request a full gold suit and we made it. It was amazing.

Lehapa concluded, “We control our dreams. There’s no limit to how far we can take our small business. There are no barriers to how much the business can actually grow.”
