Mrs Universe Africa promotes intelligence and purpose
FONTAINEBLEAU – Local resident wins Mrs Universe Africa.
Fikile Mpopo is proud to be Mrs Universe Africa 2021.
As the crowned queen, she will represent the Africa continent at the Mrs Universe pageant in Seoul, South Korea this November.
“Winning Mrs Universe Africa means I am a role model to African girls and an example to African women that it is possible.” she said.

“The world will see what an essence of an African Woman is through me and my journey of reign. The title is bigger than me as an individual and it will give me an opportunity to change the narrative by educating that beauty can be intellectual, intelligent, purposeful and make an impact in society.”
The 31-year-old Fontainebleau mother of two is a data engineer by profession, who graduated cum laude in information technology at the Vaal University of Technology.
She is currently furthering her studies with Henley Business School in pursuit of holding an international MBA.
Mpopo is also director for an NGO called Open Eyes Girls, which aims at empowering young girls and women to unlock and reach their full potential.

She enjoys hiking and loves being around nature and keeps mentally and physically fit by working out and meditating. She also loves music and can sing.
During her downtime, she is either bonding with her two children, reading personal development books or listening to podcasts which keep her focused and motivated.
