Daniel Wundram, the team’s captain, hoped the season would ‘bring plenty of opportunities to grow as a team and to prove ourselves against the teams that have challenged us in the past’.
Wundram said the tournament was one of these opportunities and that some challenging games and inclement weather conditions added interest and forced the team to work together to maintain their positive attitude and belief in their abilities.
