Community attends The Rape of Europa screening
With thanks to the Historic Documentary Film Society, and Second Innings, attendees got to experience this dark chapter of World War II.
The Historic Documentary Film Society, with Second Innings, co-hosted the screening of The Rape of Europa at the Slome Auditorium of Beit Emanuel Progressive Synagogue recently.

Audiences experienced, what has been described as, an epic journey of greed and warfare across seven countries during one of the darkest chapters of World War II. The documentary is said to have shown the systematic theft, deliberate destruction, and miraculous survival of countless works of art during the hedonistic era of the Third Reich.
There to watch the documentary were community members, as well as locals who are members of various groups, much like Second Innings.
