Oliver said of His many teachings, Jesus tells of how important it is for children to understand their value as God’s creation. One of the ways this can be seen is by being proud of themselves for the little and big things they achieve in their life.
The learners were asked: What is something you are proud of yourself for?
Micah Diamandis: I am proud of myself for being a part of God's great plan and helping people.
Abby Sowman: I am proud of myself for helping and giving food to the poor by giving them 60 hotdogs. I am very proud of myself!
Paige le Roux: I'm proud that I'm fast at running. That I'm good at maths and that I have a lovely teacher, family, and friends. Also that I'm at the best school in the world.
Nolan Chitimira: I am proud of myself for getting good marks on my report, for being good at soccer and a good defender. I'm proud of myself for being a good friend and kind to others. I'm proud of myself for helping people and controlling my feelings.
Harrison Janse van Vuuren: I'm most proud of my soccer, rugby, cricket and tennis. I like these sports because there's lots of energy and because I'm good at it and I love it.
Siyabonga Zulu: I am proud of my work and proud to be at school and of myself because I'm a helpful boy.
Juliette Mordaunt: I'm proud of myself for listening more and trying different food I thought I would never like.
Hlelo Dube: I'm proud of myself for passing maths, and I'm good at soccer and being a goalkeeper.
