Skuta steals the show for Wits U15
Quick feet, fearless dribbling, and two goals — Lulekwa Ndima proved that height is no barrier when talent does the talking.
In matchweek 29 of the Gauteng Development League (GDL), Wits Juniors U15 secured all three points against Highlands U15, thanks largely to the brilliance of their lively winger, Lulekwa ‘Skuta’ Ndima.
The youngster turned the tie into his personal stage, scoring twice in each half to seal a memorable performance and deservedly walking away with the Man of the Match award.

What Lulekwa lacks in height, he more than makes up for with his flair, quick feet, and fearless approach on the right wing. His ability to operate with both feet made him a nightmare for defenders — able to dribble down the line with confidence. Direct, tricky, and hungry, he is proving himself to be one of the most exciting young talents in the league.

Lulekwa said that he likes playing on the right wing, allowing him more freedom to cut inside and deliver crosses with his weaker foot. On his brace that secured the victory, the 15-year-old credited his team’s hard work in training. “It feels amazing because we’ve been practising the set-pieces in training,” he said.
Even with his small stature, defenders struggled to contain him throughout the match, allowing him to dribble past players taller than him. Wits Juniors has a diamond in their arsenal, a winger who plays without fear, with skill to match and who looks set for an exciting future on the football pitch.
