DLSHCC head hopes learners have a great year

Head of high school at De La Salle Holy Cross College Linda Galanakis looks forward to a 2026 that sees learners take advantage of what the school has to offer them.


With a hope to have another successful year at the school, head of high school at De La Salle Holy Cross College Linda Galanakis hopes to see the school community continue to live out their values.

The school will continue to offer the quality education they always have, while striving to remain relevant. “My hope is that the teaching staff feel appreciated in a profession that is frequently undervalued, and that we continue to support our learners wellbeing.”

With the school’s new Astroturf soon to be unveiled, she looks forward to watching learners take advantage of all the co-curricular activities they have on offer.

Her wish for the matric Class of 2026 is that they grow in courage and resilience, and discover their authentic selves while enjoying the journey ahead in a balanced manner.

“I hope that they lead graciously and learn both inside and beyond the classroom walls.”
