First full set of matrics for new principal at Reddford House Northcliff achieves 100% matric pass rate
With Caren Brinkley taking over at the school in 2024, this marks her first full set of matrics, and results she is very proud of.
Reddford House Northcliff has marked a significant academic milestone after announcing exceptional matric results for the class of 2025, achieving a 100% overall pass rate and a 92% Bachelor’s Degree pass rate.
Speaking with evident pride, Reddford House Northcliff principal Caryn Brinkley said the results reflect far more than academic performance alone. “We are extremely proud of our class of 2025. We’ve achieved excellent matric results, with a 100% pass rate and a 92% Bachelor Degree pass rate. We are incredibly proud, not only of our top achievers, but of every student who achieved the best possible marks they could.”

Brinkley, who took over the leadership of the school in 2024, acknowledged that her first year at the helm came with challenges. However, she said 2025 marked a year of real growth and stability. “When I took over in 2024, it was a challenging year, but 2025 saw us grow, especially in the college. The staff became stable, our students grew and started to achieve, and we built strong bonds.”
She added that the continuity of staff and leadership has been vital, particularly for current Grade 11 pupils who will move into matric with consistency and confidence.
Beyond academics, Brinkley highlighted the strengthening relationships between staff, students, and parents as one of the school’s greatest achievements. “They are forming part of our community. Our students are happy, and our staff are committed. I’m incredibly proud to be at the helm of this school.”

The 2025 matric class holds special significance for Brinkley, representing her first full set of matric results after a complete year at the school. “They were my first real set of matric results. A strong bond was formed with them — my first SEC members. Seeing them achieve and be part of growing the school makes them very special to me.”
Her message to the wider school community, including staff and students, remains to be clear and consistent, and to be present in the moment.
