As she prepared for the day of the quadruplets birth, fear gripped her heart. The thought of welcoming four little lives into the world seemed daunting, yet, the moment her babies were born, all fears vanished. “Nothing made me happier than being their mom,” she recalls.
While Masiza’s pregnancy was anything but easy, from the very first kick she felt the unique rhythm of four heartbeats, each one a reminder of the miraculous life growing within her. “It was an experience I wouldn’t trade for the world,” she reflects.
The excitement of knowing which baby was awake, based on their kicks, brought a delightful understanding of their individual personalities, even before they took their first breaths, however thoughts raced through her mind: How could she possibly care for four tiny humans at once? With financial worries clouding her mind, she found herself questioning God. Many nights, tears soaked her pillow as she grappled with the enormity of her situation. Despite these feelings of denial and shock, Nomsa’s pregnancy progressed without complications until the final weeks.
She faced the physical challenges of carrying quadruplets: dehydration, constant trips to the restroom, and the difficulty of walking or sitting for long periods. Yet, she managed to prepare for their arrival, bolstered by a strong support system.

Family and friends rallied around her, accompanying her to monthly ultrasound appointments and offering encouragement. As her 30th week approached, Masiza was admitted to the hospital for bed rest, due to the high-risk nature of her pregnancy.
“Just three days later, labor pains began, leading to an emergency cesarean section. The delivery was no small feat for the medical team, but they rose to the occasion, ensuring the safe arrival of my four little angels without complications.”
Holding her babies for the first time was nothing short of miraculous. “I could not believe that I made it,” she recalls, her heart swelling with pride and gratitude. “I was chosen by God to carry His angels, and I fulfilled my task.”
Masiza’s journey into motherhood may have started with fear and uncertainty, but it has blossomed into a profound love that knows no bounds. “Life came naturally as they became part of my world,” she shares.
As Masiza navigates the beautiful chaos of motherhood, she embodies the strength and love that defines a mother’s heart. Her story is a reminder that, even in the face of overwhelming odds, love prevails.
