Thespian Peter Billy Langa performed his one man show Tswalo/Source at the Sophiatown Heritage and Cultural Centre (SHCC) on 13 September. Tswalo/Source questioned power, creation, freedom, connection, intuition, and truth, rules of life on earth, love, and fear. Langa himself described the theatre production as “an exploration of birth, life, death, me, you and us” while SHCC Director Tricia Sibbons described it as “a meditation on the important things in life in a spellbinding hour.”

A graduate of both the Trevor Huddleston Centre, and the Market Theatre Lab, Billy is the second young performer from the Centre to feature in the Sophiatown Young Performers Programme.
