12th annual ParkLive concert set to serenade Emmarentia

The concert, yet again, promises to be the answer to anyone wanting to enjoy a great display of South African musical talents.

Marks Park will yet again be the venue to celebrate the talents of great South African musicians, as it plays host to the 12th annual ParkLive Festival, set to take place on October 18.

This year’s lineup is described as being nothing short of spectacular, with artists such as Matthew Mole, The Parlotones, Freshly Ground, SaxbyTwins, Ross Learmonth, and the sensational Shekhinah, ready to have you enjoy some much-deserved entertainment under the Emmarentia skies.

Shekhinah’s pre-show ritual includes a 20-minute vocal warm up, enroute to the venue.

“It’s to help ensure I have a safe vocal performance and also makes me feel more confident that I’ve done my best to prepare for the show.”

When she gets on stage, be prepared to feel as though she is giving you the solo serenade she knows her fans deserve, as the most important part of her performance is making sure people leave having been made happy by her.

You can also expect to hear some new additions to this suited songstress’ set.

“There are always one or two super fans in the crowd who will know these new songs, and will always be happy I snuck them in.” Of her extensive list of favourites, Please Mister is always her favourite song to perform.

She looks forward to performing it, along with the new ones, for the audience to enjoy.
