The eagle has landed at St Gregory Primary School

There were numerous events from 40m sack race for the pre-primary to 4 x 100m relay for the seniors

St Gregory Primary held their Annual Inter-House Athletics on September 22.

The day started off with both houses; Eagles and Falcons walking around the track and singing war cries, which set the atmosphere for the rest of the day.

The weather was on our side as it turned out to be a lovely spring day for all to enjoy the event. There were numerous events from 40m sack race for the pre-primary to 4 x 100m relay for the seniors.

Well done to the following athletes who were rewarded as the best athlete of their age group on their performances: Collins Bere, Portia Hadebe, Samkelisiwe Njiyela, Thabiso Strydom, Claudia Shaw and Quinton Ngcobo.

The Eagle House won this year’s Inter-House Athletics. Well done Eagles!

Thank you to all the parents who supported the school on the day and enjoyed the event. St Gregory looks forward to seeing everyone there next year.
