Bright Start Academy hosted their highly anticipated annual careers day on August 7.

Learners came to school dressed up as the career they would like to pursue in the future, before getting to meet ‘real life’ firefighters and policemen.

The school welcomed a variety of professionals who shared insights into their careers, explained what they do, and demonstrated aspects of their work where possible.

From emergency services to other exciting professions, learners were able to ask questions, learn new things and see first-hand how different careers contribute to our community.

The day was filled with curiosity, excitement and plenty of inspiration as our learners discovered that their dreams can become a reality with hard work and dedication.
