Newcastle IDOLS competition – Relay for Life launch

The CANSA Association of Newcastle is gearing to host the first round of the IDOLS competition for 2014, which will take place at the launch of the Relay for Life this Saturday from 11am till 1pm at the Newcastle Mall.

It is time to take your singing talent out of the shower and show us what you’ve got. The first 20 entrants will be given the opportunity to give a live performance at the Newcastle Mall before our esteemed judges. Entrance fee is R100 and entrants are encouraged to call in advance to make a booking to perform due to the limited number of time slots available.

The Relay for Life launch marks the start of CANSA Newcastle’s campaign to celebrate cancer survivors, honour those who have lost their brave battle against the disease and to fight back in the hope of creating a cancer free world.

Teams participating in the Relay for Life are welcome to register at Saturday’s launch. Cancer patients and survivors are also urged to register at Saturday’s launch to receive a VIP invitation for themselves and their caregiver to the event. At the Relay for Life, CANSA strives to honour each and every cancer survivor and caregiver for their courage and strength.
