Celebrating International Egg Day

At lunchtime the day before (Thursday), the Estcourt News partnered with local non-profit organisation Meals on Wheels – Community Services Estcourt to bring smiles and cheer to the folks at Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.

International Egg Day was celebrated on Friday, October 11.
At lunchtime the day before (Thursday), the Estcourt News partnered with local non-profit organisation Meals on Wheels – Community Services Estcourt to bring smiles and cheer to the folks at Shepstone Place Home for the Aged.
70 lunch packs were made for the residents in the cottages and Home, which contained an egg sandwich, fruit juice, two fruit and a sweet treat.
The residents accepted the lunch packs with smiles and were in a jovial spirit.
