Scholar superheroes save lives at blood clinic

The South African National Blood Service (SANBS) hosted their first scholar blood clinic last week Wednesday, April 22 at Drakensberg Secondary School from 9.30am to 1.30pm. Drakensberg Secondary School scholars took approximately 35 minutes to save three lives with a pint of plasma. 54 learners attended the blood clinic, 47 bleed the precious gift of life, and the SANBS team welcomed 16 new blood buddies. The SANBS team and Blood Clinic Co-ordinator, Mr SM Dawoonarain would like to thank the school staff including the learners for all generous donations and attending the blood clinic hosted.
