Lots of fun at church bazaar
One was welcomed by the smell of freshly backed German delicacies such as Butterkuchen, Mettwurst, biscuits and Kochkase
On Saturday, May 30 the Moorleigh Lutheran Church congregation tagged along friends and family to the annual Moorleigh Lutheran Church Bazaar.
With warm weather and in a buzzing atmosphere, one was welcomed by the smell of freshly backed German delicacies such as Butterkuchen, Mettwurst, biscuits and Kochkase.
A minute before stalls where opened just after a yummy lunch was served, people flocked and formed a queue, waiting to lay their hands on some German goodies. Items were sold out within minutes after stalls opened at 2pm, which proved that German specialties are rather popular. Attendees both young and old had loads of fun.
Winners of the raffle were:
Pedro – Nestle hamper.
Heidrun Rohrs – Bar fridge.
Merinda Schaub – Helicopter flight for two.
The church would like to thank the community for supporting the bazaar.
