The Gladiators hosted Dumbe at Cecil Emmett Park. Dumbe won the toss and elected to bat. They were eventually bowled out in the 27th over for 189 runs, mainly thanks to a blazing 56 from Ludwig Niebuhr and a well controlled 39 not out from Loubser Theron. The best bowlers for Gladiators were Craig Petersen (4-0-33-4) and Andrew Vorster (6-0-26-2).

In the Gladiators batting innings, tight bowling from Dumbe restricted them to 110/9 in the allotted 30 overs, with Freddy Stoltenkamp (46) and Andrew Vorster (15) top scoring. Rupert Beneke (4-2-9-3) and Juan Freyer (6-0-16-2) were the leading wicket takers for Dumbe. Dumbe won the match by 79 runs.

This coming weekend Wicket Wasps will be playing a double header, they travel to Dumbe on Saturday and take on Mr X on Sunday at Cecil Emmett Park.
