Derby Day produces top class rugby, hockey and netball

It was a Derby Day to remember when DHS and Sarel Cilliers met at Dundee High on Saturday. Dundee prevailed in the boys’ hockey and netball while the hockey girls drew 2-2. Sarel prevailed in all the rugby matches but the first team clash was the match of the day with lads in red going down 22-10 after leading 7-0 at half time which ensured that Sarel retained their Derby Day honours for now. But this DHS team showed tremendous fighting spirit – it was a great day for local sporting talent!
