GALLERY: Newcastle Mall Car expo displays fine vehicles
Entries into the expo allowed car owners vehicles to be judged on their appearance and other attractive features and modifications.
The smell of petroleum and high engine power drew eager car enthusiasts as they rallied at the Newcastle Mall’s Car Expo last Saturday, July 1.
Petrol heads appreciated an array of automobiles, from vintage Chevrolets to sporty Mustangs and VW GTI’s.
Entries into the expo allowed car owners vehicles to be judged on their appearance and other attractive features and modifications.
While some appreciated the finer vintage models, youngsters where drawn to the latest cars with, dropped suspensions and V8 engines.
Stall holders also had the opportunity to exhibit their products.
Activities included, drift carts for the children and airbrush tattoos, with food stalls selling biltong, pancakes, scrumptious homemade snacks and meals. Toy and arts and crafts stalls were also available.
A prizegiving ceremony concluded the high octane filled day, and winners bagged awesome prizes courtesy of the Newcastle Mall and other sponsors.

- Best Female Competitor – Zaakira Khan – Oval Track
