PICS: Donkey derby boast Durban July fever

With a similar concept to the Durban July, Huttenpark hosted a Donkey Derby on Friday, August 4.

The bets came in thick and fast as participants placed their winnings on a team member who would cross the finish line first.

Cheerful banter and good food and drinks, added to the already vibrant atmosphere as teams cheered each other on.

Dressing to the theme of the Durban July, saw members in red feathers and even jockey apparel.

Racing on wooden stick donkeys, each player gave it their all while the winners were crowned victorious.
